Summit Senior Hockey League
The Summit offers many opportunities for the hockey enthusiast. The S.S.H.L. caters to every category and age of adult hockey players. The Summit Senior Hockey League includes playoffs and all referees. USA hockey fees need to be paid online before the season starts. Go to usahockey.com to register and bring in your USA hockey registration with your S.S.H.L. registration. The S.S.H.L has Fall, Spring and Summer leagues so that you are able to play year-round!
SSHL Summer 2019
Sunday Summer Draft League
Information:
- Draft League (Sundays) Begins: June 2nd
- Game times: 4:50 PM & 6:00 PM
- 10 Games + Playoffs
- League will be open to first 60 registrants (4 teams)
- Players will be drafted into teams based on ability / prior experience
- Draft Date/teams announced Friday, May 31st
- May request up to two teammates per registrant
- Players must indicate prior playing experience:
- (A)Pro, Ex-Pro, Current D1 College, or Juniors
- (B)<3 Yrs Removed Midget (AAA), High School, Juniors, D2/3
- (C)<10 Yrs Removed High School, Prep, Travel
- (D)Prior House Hockey, Organized Hockey
- (E) Little to No previous experience
Cost:
$155 per person – Jersey included
$50 for Goalies
$100 due at registration
SSHL Summer 2019
Information:
- Intermediate Division (Sundays) Begins: June 2nd
- Game times: 2:30 PM & 3:40 PM
- 10 Games + Playoffs
- Legends (Mondays/Tuesdays) Begins: June 3rd
- Monday Game times: 9:00 PM
- Tuesday Game times: 6:30 PM, 7:40 PM, & 8:50 PM
- 10 Games + Playoffs
Cost:
$175 per person – Team provides jersey
$50 for Goalies
$100 due at registration
Discounts:
$30 off for multiple leagues
$20 off for current (2018 – 2019) LHC Coaches
SSHL Fall/Winter 2019-2020
Information:
- Novice, Bronze, Silver, Gold Divisions
- All Leagues (Sundays) Begins: September 8th
- 27 Games including Playoffs
Cost:
$455 per person – Team provides jersey
$75 for Goalies
$100 due at registration
Discounts:
$50 off for multiple leagues
$50 off for current (2019 – 2020) LHC Coaches
$25 off for early registration (Deadline: August 1st, 2019)
Rules
- USA and SSHL Hockey Rules apply
- Periods are 16 minute running clock
- Penalties are stop time
- There is NO checking
- Face Masks are recommended
- USA # Confirmation before 1st game
- All players must have jersey #’s registered
- Director can make trades during season to balance league
- Champions name plate and player awards
